Truffle & Butter Seared Steak
Have you always wanted to recreate a perfectly seared, restaurant quality steak at home? Look no further than this flavorful truffle butter steak recipe!
A thick cut steak with a buttery sear is always great, but really elevates this dish is the addition of our aromatic TRUFF Black Truffle Salt. Garnish with fresh thyme and rosemary and enjoy!
Instructions
- Sandwich steaks between sheets of paper towels and set aside to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- Season steaks with TRUFF Black Truffle Salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in an extra large skillet over high heat.
- Once heated, add the steaks to the skillet.
- Sear for 2-3 minutes per side or until thoroughly seared.
- Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat, add butter to the skillet and melt.
- Once melted, add herbs and sauté until fragrant.
- Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the sizzling butter over the steaks, cooking until desired doneness has been reached.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
