Tuscan Tuna Melt
If you love a classic tuna melt, your tastebuds will be singing praises for this Tuscan makeover!
Our tuna salad is seasoned with lemon, basil, sun-dried tomatoes, shallot, garlic, and olives, then tossed in a creamy combination of our TRUFF Mayonnaise and TRUFF Original Hot Sauce. Load this salad on ciabatta and top with cheese for a mouthwatering meal!
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- In a large bowl combine mayo, lemon zest, lemon juice, TRUFF Original Hot Sauce, basil, sun-dried tomatoes, shallot, garlic, and olives. Whisk until blended.
- Add tuna and stir until blended.
- Place open-faced ciabatta on a large baking sheet and drizzle with oil.
- Add arugula onto each ciabatta and top with tuna salad.
- Divide cheese between each sandwich and place in the oven.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese has melted.
- Garnish sandwiches with basil and tomatoes before serving.
