Thai Basil Beef Stir Fry Rice Bowl

Ingredients
Stir-Fry Marinade:
1 shallot, peeled and diced
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon fresh lemongrass, minced
2 tablespoons TRUFF Original Hot Sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound ground beef
2 to 3 cups cooked jasmine rice
1 bunch bibb lettuce leaves
1 cup red cabbage, shredded
1 red chili pepper, thinly sliced
½ cup cucumber, thinly sliced
¼ cup peanuts, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
1 lime, cut into wedges

Place shallot, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, hot sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, fish sauce, and sugar in a medium bowl, whisk to combine.
Heat olive oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ground beef, and cook for 5 minutes or until brown. Add the marinade to the wok, stir to combine with the ground beef, and stir-fry for 5 minutes more.
Divide rice between bowls or plates and top with the stir-fried ground beef. Serve with lettuce leaves, cabbage, chili peppers, cucumbers, chopped peanuts, fresh herbs, and lime wedges.
