TRUFF Hot Honey Bacon Cheddar Dip with Pretzel Bites

Made with homemade TRUFF hot honey bacon bits, savory seasonings, and a rich blend of cheddar, cream cheese, mustard, and beer, this dip offers the perfect balance of heat and creaminess! Pair this dip with pretzel bites for the ultimate dipping experience.

Instructions 

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.  

2. Evenly space bacon on a baking dish. 

3. Bake the bacon for 10 minutes. 

4. Microwave honey for 15-20 seconds. Add the TRUFF Original Hot Sauce and whisk to combine.

5. Remove bacon from the oven and carefully pat dry.  

6. Brush the bacon with the hot honey, and return to the oven.

7. Set aside any remaining hot honey for later use. 

8. Bake the bacon for 10-15 minutes, until the bacon is brown and crisp.

9. Set bacon aside to cool.

10. Chop bacon into small, bite-sized pieces.

11. Pour any of the bacon pan drippings into a bowl.

12. Place the softened cream cheese, beer, and mustard into the bowl and whisk to combine.

13. Add the grated cheddar cheese, chopped scallions, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the bowl. Stir until thoroughly combined.

14. Spread the mixture evenly into a casserole dish.

15. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

16. Remove from the oven and set aside to rest for five minutes.

17. Sprinkle the top of the dip with the chopped bacon and drizzle with the remaining hot honey.

18. Serve the dip alongside the baked pretzel bites and enjoy!
